Contributors to this book systematically describe Korea\'s higher education system, provide data heretofore unavailable in the English language, present a fundamentally Korean view of the important issues in their country\'s higher education system, and build alternative theoretical perspectives to analyse the development of a higher education system in a very competitive society.
